News - January, 2025

The past year has been busy and rewarding.  We had four of our own foals in the spring and then brought our Metallic Cat-Bayywatch baby home.  It's going to be a fun crop to watch grow and learn.  Our young horses, at two years old, started into training and all took to the program very nicely.  We hope to have them ready to show before long.

Through the fall, we built a new outdoor arena at the ranch in Alberta with the help of OCD Groundworks.  We now have a 100 x 200 ft arena with solid foundation and great footing!  Outkast Oilfield Supply helped source fencing for us.  We haven't quite finished the cattle handling but it will be done once the snow melts.  And our son has offered to help us with cattle for practice.

Meanwhile, in Arizona, we had Cody Halford rebuild our existing arena, compacting our base, adding a layer of fines and then hauling in new sand.  We purchased cattle at the auction in Prescott Valley and have been having lots of fun!
